Podcast production · Plainview, NY

Every breath,
accounted for.
A flat-fee season of podcast production, made in Plainview, NY.

Aeolian Audio edits, mixes, masters and publishes shows for B2B brands and independent hosts. We direct the recording remotely, lift the room out of the tape, write the show notes and set up your distribution, all inside one season package.

01Selected work

We cut the stumble, keep the breath, and leave the part that sounds like you alone.

An edit is an argument about what a listener should feel while the talking happens. Ours is simple: the pause before a hard answer stays, the “um” before a lazy one goes, and nothing gets polished until it no longer sounds like a person.

02The season, in numbers

What a season package settles before anyone presses record

Four figures go into every proposal we write. Fixed up front, they are the reason the fee never moves mid-season.

03Production

Five passes between your first call and a live feed

  1. The call

Twenty minutes to map the season, the guests and the sound you’re chasing.

  2. Recording direction

We join remotely, set levels with every guest and run the session, so you only have to talk.

  3. The clean

Hum, hiss, room tone, plosives, mouth clicks and off-mic dips, lifted out by ear.

  4. Mix and master

Dialogue leveled, music beds set, final file mastered to −16 LUFS.

  5. Publish

Show notes written, feed built, and your show submitted to Apple Podcasts, Spotify and the rest.

04Season packages

Priced by the season, not the hour.

A season is a knowable thing: a number of episodes, a length, a launch date. So the fee is knowable too. One package carries the editing, the remote recording direction, the show notes and the distribution setup.

Questions that come before the first invoice

Why a flat fee and not an hourly rate?

Because hourly billing rewards slow editing. A season has a fixed scope, so we quote it once and carry the risk of a difficult guest or a noisy room ourselves.

Do my guests need studio equipment?

No. We walk every guest through a ten-minute setup, from mic position to a quiet corner, and monitor the recording live. A wired USB microphone is the one thing we ask for.

What if an edit isn’t right?

Each episode includes two revision rounds. Send timestamps and notes, and we’ll rework the cut. A third round is $45 per episode.

Who owns the audio?

You do. Masters, session files and show notes land in your shared folder when each episode is delivered, and the feed is set up under your own accounts.
